ChatGPT-5 Officially Launches

OpenAI has officially launched ChatGPT-5, the newest version of its flagship model. This release is already making waves in the writing and marketing world. Unlike earlier versions, GPT-5 focuses on multimodal fluency and can handle text, images, and even video input and output.

GPT-5 has established a new benchmark in multimodal evaluation. On MMMU, which measures college-level visual reasoning, it achieves 84.2%, and on the more advanced MMMU-Pro (graduate-level), it records 78.4%—outperforming o3 in both cases. In VideoMMMU, which tests reasoning across sequences of up to 256 video frames, GPT-5 secures 84.6% accuracy, edging past o3’s 83.3%.

The model also shows strong results in specialized domains. On CharXiv Reasoning, which involves interpreting scientific figures, GPT-5 reaches 81.1% when reasoning mode is enabled. In ERQA, a spatial reasoning benchmark, it scores 65.7%, again surpassing o3.

For content creators, this means faster brainstorming, richer storytelling support, and more natural dialogue generation. It also brings improved reasoning and sharper thinking abilities compared to previous models, which helps produce more consistent and context-aware responses. Marketers and agencies can expect sharper campaign ideas and better audience-tailored messaging. One of the most notable improvements is in contextual memory. GPT-5 can now retain details over much longer interactions, which makes working with it feel more like a true collaborator.
